Buck Buck Foundation

Mission

The Buck Buck Foundation’s mission is to provide CMV children and their families with financial support, education and hope. Our goal is to raise national awareness of CMV with the aim to prevent birth defects.

History

The Buck Buck Foundation was founded in 2010 by Dar Hoogstad White, Buck Buck’s mother. We are a non-profit 501 (c)(3) organization dedicated to the loving memory of Bryan Keith Robison, aka Buck Buck, who bravely endured severe disabilities for 23 years due to CMV (Cytomegalovirus), a leading cause of severe childhood disability. The organization helps families in the Pacific Northwest with the goal to reach out through out the entire United States with the aim to reach international where the need is.

Q: What is your proudest accomplishment?

Having a successful Debut Auction Benefit Dinner where we raised enough money to put our mission in motion which enabled us to help our first family, it was priceless!

Q: What is your greatest need?

Like any other non-profit, it is crucial to raise money but to help us grow we need to spread the word we are here and ready to help.

Q: What are your plans for 2013?

We are planning our next event which be held on November 2nd and will also be an auction and dinner benefit. We are looking to team up sponsors the will aid in our goal to raise awareness. Community outreach to educate about CMV
